Our Success Stories

From Struggle to Success: Mutuku's Journey

Joined: Class 2 (2010) | Current Status: Business Management Graduate

The Challenge

I came to Fountain of Life in 2010 when I was just in Class 2. At that young age, I was facing a future without stability and difficulty accessing basic education. I needed more than just a roof over my head; I needed a family and a chance to dream.

Our Intervention

Fountain of Life became that family for me. They saw me through the challenges of primary school, cheered me on through high school, and eventually supported me as I transitioned into college to pursue a Diploma in Business Management.

The Results

Today, I'm not just a survivor; I'm a thriver. I graduated with my Diploma and am now working in the business sector, giving back to the community that raised me by building this very website. My journey is a testament to the power of unwavering support.

Determination: Paul's High School Path

Age: 10 when admitted | Current Status: Form 4 Student

Paul Mwongela

🎓 Paul's Achievement

The Challenge

Paul joined us at age 10. Coming from a background where school was a luxury, he often worried if his education would end at Class 8. He had the marks but lacked the means to join a secondary school.

Our Intervention

We provided full sponsorship for his secondary education, including his uniform, books, and boarding fees. More importantly, he received mentorship to help him navigate his teenage years with confidence.

The Results

Now in Form 4, Paul is an average student and participates in the school’s drama club. He is no longer just "getting by"—he is thriving and dreams of becoming a great businessman to one day help other children like him.

Empowering Leadership: From Vulnerability to Corporate HR

Admitted: 2005 | Current Status: Human Resources Professional & Mentor

The Challenge

Coming from a highly vulnerable background with limited financial stability, David faced severe barriers to pursuing higher education. Without a strong support system to fund his academic dreams, securing a university degree or breaking into a professional corporate career seemed entirely out of reach.

Our Intervention

Recognizing his academic potential, natural leadership skills, and passion for people, we provided David with a stable home and sponsored his higher education journey. We covered his full tuition and provided professional mentorship, enabling him to successfully graduate with a degree in Human Resource Management.

The Results

Today, David is a thriving HR professional managing workplace talent and corporate development. He uses his expertise to run career readiness workshops for our youth, teaching them how to build CVs, ace interviews, and confidently step into the professional workforce.

Bright Futures: Jeremiah’s CBC Journey

Current Status: Grade 5 CBC Learner

Jeremiah

🌟 Jeremiah's Growth

The Challenge

Jeremiah joined us when his education was at a standstill. His family was struggling deeply with school fees, making it impossible for him to stay in class consistently. As the new CBC curriculum was introduced, he lacked the basic materials and financial stability required to keep up with his peers.

Our Intervention

Fountain of Life stepped in to remove the financial burden. We provided full scholarship support, covering all his school fees, uniform, and the specific practical materials required for CBC projects. Our caregivers provided the mentorship and stable home environment he needed to focus entirely on his studies.

The Results

Today, Jeremiah is a bright and energetic Grade 8 student. No longer worried about being sent home for fees, he is excelling in his practical assessments and has become one of the most active participants in his class. His journey proves that when the barrier of school fees is removed, a child's potential is limitless.
